5 Powerful Mind Strategies For Business Success

Building a business is both a wonderful and a
challenging experience.

You can wake up exhilarated with great enthusiasm
to start your day and then end the day feeling frustrated
and not just a little overwhelmed.

The key to success is to maintain a positive,
'yes-you-can-do-it', mindset.

That's easier said than done, right?

Here are 5 ways to help you create and sustain a
positive frame of mind so that you can reach the
heights of success you so desire.

1. Surround yourself with successful and
positive people
and avoid those people who have
a negative or destructive attitude to life.
People influence our own personal energy and
their moods and attitudes impact on us. A simple
smile from a stranger can make to your day; just
magnify the effect of a stranger's smile a
thousand times to demonstrate the power of
positive and successful friends, family and
associates. When you have people around you who
inspire you, have faith in you and want you to
succeed, there is little room for doubt to over
-whelm you and, even when they creep up on you,
they are quickly swept away by the encouragement
of the people around you.

2. Say a mantra or an affirmation which embodies
your mission statement
- what you intend to
achieve. Repeating positive affirmations has
been shown to get people through tough times and
to actually help them stay positive and not give
in to self-doubt.

Many highly respected and wildly successful
business professionals have used this kind of
affirmation strategy to help them stay on track.
To find the right affirmations for you is not too
difficult - just make a quick list of your doubts,
insecurities and complaints and then turn them
into positive affirmations.
For example, if you write that you always feel
disorganized, then your affirmation would be
something like this:

"I am organized and in control. It is easy for me
to be organized and in control"

Repeat your affirmations several times
a day and feel the power of positive thinking
begin to change you for the better.

3. Stop negative thoughts and feelings in their
tracks.

We all have negative thoughts and
emotions from time to time, however, they can
knock us off course and stop us from achieving
all we desire. Of course catching those
negative thoughts takes practice and
persistence. When you find yourself filled with
negative thoughts and emotions, find something,
a trigger, that can help you turn them around, reframe
them into something positive and helpful.

Other ways tried and trusted ways to improve your mood are:
  • Listening or singing your favorite song
  • taking a walk outside in the fresh air
  • doing a little exercise are tried

4. Set goals and intentions. Be clear on what you

want and regard getting it as part of a
process. If you can 'enjoy the journey' as they
say and focus on the process and not only on the
end result, then you put yourself into the right
frame of mind to succeed because then you don't
become desperate to see the final goal, but
rather just what the next step is along the way.
A certain amount of faith in yourself and in
your power to stick with it is necessary. Give
it a try.

5. Be grateful - grateful for what you have
achieved so far and for the end result which you
expect to be reached in time.

When you are grateful for all the wonderful things and people
in your life the challenges you face seem
significantly less daunting and are more easily
dealt with.
Keeping a gratitude journal and getting into the
habit of writing in it daily is an excellent
method to help you stay focused and in touch
with all the positives in your day and life.
Also when you are facing a challenge being able
to remind yourself of all the wonderful things
in your life will make you feel that you could
tackle anything.

Success is really within your reach and with the
right attitude you can accomplish all that you
set your sights on. Embrace these five powerful
mind success strategies and you will build a
better business and live a happier, more
satisfying life.
